Mumble , well he mumbles alot and earns the nick name " the Mumbler "
Mimzy, is a master of escape she earns the nick name " Hoomimzer "
Chibi-Chibi is a artisit of escape , flexability and charm so he is " Chibster"
Tango has already picked up the art of knot-untying. I do believe with a little more confidence he will become the next Houdini.
Thus, he has earned the stage name, "The Amazing Tangodini".
Sounds more like he's a pro at "un-tango-ling" things!
Anyhow, our Angela, as I've said, has the nn "Django", because her reverse-curling claws make her resemble the great Jazz guitarist with the gnarled fingers, Django Reinhardt.
Sky's Nickname is Magellan, after the explorer Ferdinand Magellan. Sky has somehow found his way into every room in this house and has left his mark!!
I love that! Guess you have to know your history to get it but that was my favourite subject so I get it! Thanks for sharing Andrea. I keep checking back to the forum to see the wonderful creativity of our members.

hah most of the names we call our budgies can't be repeated on a family site
Dream has always been a romantic, he constantly follows Petal around like a lost puppy and really tries to groom and give her food and so on - being that he is so romantic we call him 'Dreameo' (like Romeo)
Olive's nickname is Monkey because she climbs all over her cage and hangs upside down and flips and climbs some more. When I talk to her, I tend to call her Monkey more than I call her Olive. Or sometimes I'll get really carried away and call her Olive Monkey Bird.
I have four new (to me) birds; I have only named three of them, still watching to name the fourth. I have a male yellow parakeet I am calling Twitter because he chatters so much which encourages a second green female join in; I call her Chatter Box. A third is a pale yellow/white parakeet I call ghost. The fourth one has a malformed beak (which I'm going to be contacting a Vet, soon). She likes to hang upside down like a bat. I'm leaning toward naming her along the line of a bat, or flying fox, or vampire, but I have to get the approval of three other members in the household. So far they don't like my idea. We'll see what happens after the bird gets "fixed" at the vet.
