I can see the first picture but not the second, but violet does not show well in pictures so it can be harder to see than in person.

Violet is a dominant gene, so the budgie either has it or they don't Violet also comes in single factor and double factor forms, and from your description your girls are single factor violets. If they indeed are single factor violets and you pair them to a non violet bird, you would get about half single factor violet chicks
