I'm assuming there were more bits of it on the cage floor given how full the little tray of the holder is?

It really looks as if she is tearing it to pieces more than eating tons of it.

I'd let her continue to have them -- they are keeping her occupied and she can't make a nest of the pieces.

I don't believe there will be a problem with her getting too much calcium as long as you aren't giving her "enriched" seeds, pellets high in calcium and/or calcium supplements.
