Default Grey wing no body color?

I have a beautiful, in my opinion, little clutch of budgies I always thought of mom as 50% dilute and dad possibly being 10% dilute but now I don't know..In order to throw this mom would have to be grey wing and dad too, wouldn't he? Why is there little to no body color other than the grey wash?

Kermit and Gris, dad and mom

baby 1

baby 2 (mini mom)

Baby 3(not shown) looks like baby 1 but with a tint more green on the breast. Techinally both are gray green grey wings aren't they? And baby 2 would be a grey, grey wing?
Is Dad carrying the grey wing gene or is that a dominate gene from only mom? Pretty sure I have 2 males and 1 female. One of the green series has a pied patch on the back of head like dad making it female.

Also, what is up with the grey flights on baby 1? Baby 3 has grey flights too but not as dramatic as baby 1.
