rinse thoroughly with warm (as hot as you can stand it) water.
I don't use Dawn, because, well, my housemates use the dish soap by the inch and not drops, Ajax for me, because it's good and not so expensive.

Not sure how dawn got used as oil remover, but that is a last ditch effort, not necessarily an endorsement for safety.
But if you use the same care as you do for your own dishes, you should be fine!
