Hello and welcome to the forums

The picture quality really isn't the best, but I'm seeing a very purplish-pink cere which indicates a young male Unfortunately, many pet stores assume that if the cere isn't blue, it's a boy, which is totally misleading, as young males have pink/purple ceres and young females have whitish-blue ceres.

Congratulations on your new boy and I hope to see more of him! It's great to have you with us on the forums and feel free to ask about anything you're unsure of, as we'd be more than happy to help!
Does he have a name yet?
