Cage size
24" x 12" x 26" = 7488 cubic inches

Banjo's cage size is fine for one budgie (although bigger is always better)

When you say he "seems to panic all the time" does that mean he is constantly flying about in his cage or does he simply get frightened when you get close to the cage?

What does he do if you sit next to the cage and talk calmly and reassuringly to him for approximately 10-15 minutes?
Does he calm down or does he flap and squawk and try to "escape" from his cage during that time?
