Then, I stay by her cage and do something calm myself, like read, draw, do homework. She usually settles down after 30 minutes or so, and then I quietly get up and put on her cover and leave the room.
If she doesn't calm down even after that, I do cover her but leave on a small light so she can see to get up on her perch and once I don't hear her flapping around I come back in and turn off the big light.
Thanks for the advice StarlingWings. I keep the cage in my room. So I'm around them whenever I'm home. I try to keep things quiet in my room 15-30 minutes before bed time. I usually go to bed around 11 pm, and I try to stay as quiet as I can. I'll try playing the piano music tomorrow
