Mine is crane classic warm mist humidifier. It doesn't work the best in larger rooms but I just have it in my bedroom. The birds have their bedtime cage in my room so both birds and humans can benefit from the humidity.
The other thing I do is take the birds into the bathroom and run a hot shower for a bit so they can get some more humidity before going to their daytime cage.
I think (I could be wrong) its only warm mist humidifiers have the concern of having a PTEF(Teflon) coating. I personally did not want a cool mist humidifier so I searched amazon for a warm mist humidifier in my price range and contacted the manufacturer asking if the heating element was PTEF free.
