Hi Shahzaib and to the forums!

It's great to have you with us and you've come to a great place to learn even more about budgies

Thank you for explaining how much experience you have with your budgies! We don't ask things with the intention to offend; oftentimes members come onto the forums with no idea about breeding, so it's our job first and foremost to ensure that everyone on the forums is familiar with the best practices for breeding and caring for budgies in general.

For pair one, you can expect all chicks to be split fallow and all chicks to be single factor crested. Since crested is a strange gene, it never quite shows up properly, so you may have some chicks that show full, half, or partial crest and some that show none at all, but all will be heterozygous for the crested gene.

For the second pair, the same thing for the crested chicks applies as above, the only difference is that all females will be Ino.

For the third pair, the same rule for crested chicks applies, this time half the chicks will be spangle and all will be green unless the female is blue series and the male is split to blue series.

For this pair, all female chicks will be cinnamon, half the chicks will be normal, and the other half will be spangle. Grey is dominant to blue but incompletely dominant to green, so depending on the colour series of the female you may get grays or grey-greens.

I hope that helped!

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the forums by reading through all of the many articles and stickies that we have here! If you have any questions after reading through everything, be sure to ask as we'd love to help.

We would love to meet some of your budgies when you get a chance!

Cheers!
