It's great to allow your budgies to enjoy the natural sunlight during the summer days.
To be completely safe, please be sure you are with the cage and have it under constant supervision the entire time you have it outdoors.

Some people use Full Spectrum Lighting for their budgies and you can read about it in the linked thread.
If you choose to go that route, please do not use the light for more than one hour per day.

Personally, I use Soluvite D instead. It is a supplement that is easy to administer and provides your budgies with the necessary Vitamin D.
