Keep in mind, even when a budgie appears tame, it’s best not to handle her as much in the first couple weeks. She could just “seem” more tame out of insecurity of her surroundings, as is the case with many young new budgies. If she truly is calm and inclined to human bonding, then you’ll have an easier time taming . Congratulations on your new budgie!
