Very good of you to take in the bird, however, as you already are aware you are putting you own birds at risk by having them altogether, not only from a illness standpoint but there may be a bit of territorial issues as well. If you take the found bird to an avian vet for an exam at least you will know if the bird as any apparent issues such as mites, respiratory or GI infection that could be spread to your birds. I realize that you may not want to make that investment on the found bird but if that bird does pass any problems to your birds the issue will be compounded. A temporary cage would not be too expensive and may be the best solution.
