Hi there, itís not exactly true that 2 females cannot get along together. It all depends on the birds themselves. Females can be bossy and sometimes not get along but this isnít always the case. If you have a cage thatís big enough for all of your budgies to have plenty of room so theyíre not in each otherís face all the time or cramped up and you have plenty of perches, swings, toys and especially feed and water bowls, thereís every chance your 2 females could get along just fine. Obviously, if you see any signs of serious fighting or one bullying the other, youíll need to separate them. You said you have 3 budgies, which can actually present a problem in itself. One bird could potentially be bullied or left out. Again, if you see any of your budgies being tormented or picked on any worse than typical budgie squabbling, youíll need to step in and separate them.
