It sounds like Daisy is just in her comfort zone right now. Also, you can encourage her gently by adding additional toys of various types and textures. She might not find whatever material your toys are, appealing.

If you have a playstand, or can get one, it might be nice. Fasten millet or a treat Daisy finds tasty, and show it to her. But don’t force her. She will most likely explore in her own due time. Just because you feel she ‘needs to’, she might not agree at this time.
