What is your reason for wishing your pair to breed?

We recommend removing the nest. As Cody mentioned, budgies do NOT need to breed in order to be happy. In fact, although it is a natural process, it’s actually hard and stressful on the body. Many things can (and commonly do) go wrong as well. We do not recommend people to breed their budgies unless they have a substantial amount of experience keeping budgies, as well as a high level of knowledge on ALL aspects of keeping them in captivity.
