Default Drawing a B&G macaw

i took a risk and broke out the colored pencils i haven't used colored pencils in a long time, never mind actually trying to draw realistic animals with them!

so this is my first attempt to draw a realistic parrot

taking a risk at shading!

the shape of the eye really bothers me

You did an amazing job, your finished drawing is almost identical to the original!

the shape of the parrot was a little off, but it came out ok for a first try. i really need to find a white colored pencil that will show up and i need to focus more on the feather details
