Everything looks great, I love the pour paintings, what type of paint is used?
Sorry, I just saw your reply! I'm not sure of this type of paint because I wasn't the one who set it up. I think just some generic stuff because the club can't afford high-quality paint for everyone in the club lol

Hey guys!! I promise I haven't disappeared I've just been busy and my imgur went down for a while. Anyway, I've got it all figured out again and have lots of art to share.
First and foremost, I've been holding off sharing this piece since it was a Christmas present but it's safe to share now You may recognize this bird from one of our members'
Over Christmas break, my family watched The Mandalorian so I thought it fitting to do a baby yoda drawing. He might just be the cutest thing that's come across my sketchpad.
Here's a timelapse:
Here's another Dell's Mill painting that I took a different approach with. I really really like it.
Heres an in-progress acrylic of my dog, Bella. It was great fun using the palette knife to get the texture
I'm also in a sculpture class here in college. It's been super interesting learning another medium.
Our first project was bat relief, so we used cardboard and other materials to get texture, made a plaster mold, then put the clay in the mold. Mine is an abstract piece dealing with textures we see in the natural world and then using the clay to detail different habitats.
This one isn't done yet either, but here's a sneak peek...
We got to do some fun "art" in chemistry class, too We made soap and experimented with chromatography
Also I'm doing a project through the honors program. A friend and I are painting two important historical figures for our college: Abraham Kuyper and Pietra Baltus. The finished pieces will be large canvases, but for now I've done a few small studies to get used to painting portraits again.

"I thought that was Lemon Drop when I first saw it, beautiful portrait."
You were right, Cody! Katie definitely caught her sweet, sassy personality. My mom also asked her to hide the name in the picture. If you look carefully, you can find it.
Hello everyone! Hope you're all staying safe, wherever you are in this pandemic. It was weird coming home from college in March, but I've been working on some exciting things! I'll try to update my other threads and maybe start a new one for some exciting news!!
For now, I'd like to share some of my quarantine artwork I've been revamping my art website and offering more variety, so that's been a lot of fun!
Here's a really fun graphite trio commission. Recognize any of the horsie noses?
Here's a fun watercolor of Zion National Park in winter with its snow-covered peaks

And my most recent watercolor, an abstract painting loosely based off of rocks and a reflective pool. I'm about halfway done!
