Well, of the forums I've joined (horse, dog, etc.) this is by far the most active and supportive. And since I'm always working on some new art, I thought I might as well share it on here. Instead of posting 500 different threads I'll just make an ongoing one

I'll include commissions I've done, personal art (mostly watercolor & colored pencil right now)maybe a few sketches...And if you don't already know, I am a huge animal lover, so probably 99% of my art will be of animals
Here are some new pieces that haven't been shared on my previous posts:
Seahorse Watercolor
I was going for kind of a fun, loose, little bit abstract look on this one. It was a lot of fun to do, since I could actually use my vibrant colors for once

AND I got to use masking fluid! I love using masking fluid- there's something about purposefully splattering goop on paper and later rubbing it off...and seeing the fun designs it held! It's so satisfying
Dog Commission
This is my first commission, so it's pretty special! Cool story behind it, too! A lady wanted an art piece done of her friend's dog for a christmas gift. Her friend had lost her dog in an unfortunate circumstance so she (the lady who hired me) wanted something of the dog for her friend to have. The lady who originally hired me might have me do a commission for her personal animals, too, so that's exciting! Hoping some more people will hire me as we near the Holidays, since commissions are some good Christmas gifts
Tessa
Previously I had posted a picture of one of my favorite pieces I've done. But the picture was awful, so I thought I'd repost the better picture here, WITH a closeup. The piece is a colored pencil of my horse, Tessa, touching noses with her brother. Picture still makes Tess look a little too red, but much better than the other one....the closeup is a more accurate representation
Christmas Sketches!
And then I'm going to start working on some Christmas-themed art. I'm hoping to get a lot of progress made this weekend. But for now, here's the rough sketches of some ideas I had. When I say rough, I mean that these took me around 5 minutes each

So obviously some work needs to be done on each before being turned into an art piece...if I decide to use the sketch. They're numbered and I'll give a brief description/notes of each...if you have a favorite feel free to share!

1) A puppy playing with Rudolph's nose! Going to make the red nose shining bright of course!

Going to put the paw prints in snow horizontally instead and the giant obnoxious snowflakes in sketch will be replaced with realistic, fluffy ones...if I decide to do snow. Still deciding on dog breed...thinking maybe Aussie, Collie, Golden Retriever...I want to have a fluffy/long-haired breed, but has to stand out against snow and I'd like it to have a different color than Rudolph.
2) Fawn coming out of dark woods. Going to have her emerging out of shadows...think I'm going to add some Christmas lights to the trees, too. The little animal-type-thing in the front I'm still playing with. Might have a dog or something? Might put it sideways instead of from behind, we'll see

3) Puppy's first snow. If I decide to do a piece it will be cartoonish and whimsical. Would be kind of a cute, humorous piece.
4) Wolf/dog head closeup with snow coming down. Will have some snow in fur and possibly on nose...
The ones I'm probably going to do an art piece of are numbers 1 & 2. We'll see on 3 & 4. Christmas is rapidly approaching so I really need to get cracking on these! Want to turn them into some cards and/or prints to sell. Family members already want some!
And then some digital art I did (and by digital art I mean I took a picture and photoshopped and played with it

)
Golden Retriever Puppy
Rose with Raindrops
Thanks for looking through this! Feel free to offer opinions or questions, or whatever

Stay tuned for updates and more art. Like I said, going to try to get some done this weekend so will probably post again in the next couple days!
