Already you have some links to read, if you have any questions after reading through everything, be sure to ask as we'd love to help

I hope to see more of you and Jon around here!

Wow. Cuuuutieeee! He sure is taking a liking to you.

I think you've got yourself a very appreciative budgie who almost became dinner for a bunch of cackling crows.

Give that little guy all the lovin', foodie yum yums, and health snacks to get his immune system and strength back on track. Everyone else here gave you the advice you need and check in periodically if you need more help or guidance.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT PICTURE! HE IS LOVELY!!! I wish I could work at home so I could see my budgies all day ;O;

I wonder how old he is..has he been to a vet at all since you two met? It might be worth checking out sometime since you're not sure how long he had to fend for himself!

thank you all very much , i havent taken him to the vet yet at all but i intend to, i live in a a small neighberhood and the only vet we have here is one that has some animal horror stories linked to him(and at the very least they arent completely lies because i saw an article in a main news website for my country and several very informative posts, i hope they are lies but i don't want to risk my budgie's health in his clinic), ill just have to take a cab with him to somewhere else but ill make sure to do it!

If you'd like to try and find a certified avian vet near you you could search https://www.aav.org! I could find some other resources if this doesn't pan out :0

Jon Snow is very lucky to have such a great friend like yourself, I'm sure he is very happy to spend time with you, although sometimes he may seem a bit affraid i'm sure it's all fine. Sometimes my budgies like to spend some quiet alone time and they don't like being disturbed, I'm guessing that's the reason sometimes Jon Snow doesn't let you pet him.
