All right. My new bird Glacier has recently developed a habit of swimming in the seed dish. I remove the dish for a while replacing it with a a little tub for her. She seems disinterested in it and put the dish back. I gave her and the rest of my birds individual baths. (Faithful bit me to the point of bleeding?? She's so nice! I'll even add a video if you want of her being nice!) She hasn't dove into the seeds yet but it's only been ten minuets and she is now asleep. Today has been quite stressful.

As Glacier is a young budgie still, she likes to sit in the seed dish because it reminds her of when she still lived with mum and dad
She will grow out of this behaviour as she settles in, not to worry.
You should never force a budgie to bathe, however--if they do not want to bathe in a shallow dish of water and are uncomfortable with being misted, you should not try and bathe them. Budgies are very clean birds and by preening, their natural oils in their feathers are redistributed to make clean, shiny feathers and to keep them dust-free.
Some budgies simply enjoy bathing, and others do not. You should set out a shallow dish of water (no more than 1 or 1.5 inches deep) for them to see if they are interested.
Faithful was trying to tell you she didn't like to be grabbed and bathed
I'm glad Glacier is doing well!

I came home from school today and she has emptied her seed dish and it is all over my desk... It is such a waste and it never happened to me before with even younger budgies I've owned! Now she paces around the bottom and when I let her out she tries to go with the other birds...

Reason: New syptom
In order to avoid your budgie from getting inside the food dish and kicking all the seeds out, you can buy a different type of food container that has a top on with an opening where only your budgie's head will fit in.
That way your Glacier won't be able to get inside, throwing the seeds away and making a big mess. This will also keep her from pooping directly onto the food if she happens to perch near it.
At this time and since Glacier is very new, she should be in quarantine in a different room from the rest of the flock. If or when you let her out, the door of the room she is in must be close so that she doesn't reach your other budgies.
