Default Can my budgies learn to talk when I have three of them

I have heard that you can only teach budgies to talk of you have one, is that true?

From my gathered experience, I can tell you that is not true.
It all depends on the budgie's personality and innate talent for mimicry and of how well the owner is able to help the budgie to develop the skill.
It also helps tremendously to have a good bond previously established with the budgie and for the budgie to genuinely enjoy spending time with the owner and to have the natural curiosity towards us and what we are saying to them.
My budgie Luigi is currently my best talker and by the time he hatched I had already had an established flock of 6 budgies as well as an extended flock of 6 lovebirds.
That did not hinder in the slightest his ability to mimic speech and other sounds, in fact Luigi practically taught himself with hardly any effort on my part.
