Default On to the next step with my budgie

Hi! I have made massive progress with my budgie since the last 2 months. He plays outside his cage, freely walks around by his cage and is not scared by me what so ever. He is pretty good at jumping on my finger on command etc, I would love to move him on to the next step of having him move around the house a little bit step at a time, without stressing him out. Like, when i put him on my shoulder and try to move him like 8 feet to my computer desk being away from his cage kind of stresses him out, but he will do it. Any way I can train him to get used to this? I do it a good bit but he doesn't seem to be letting up the stress. Thanks!

Good luck with your fid, it sounds like you've made a lot of progress so far! Just make sure to give him lots of positive reinforcement whenever you start to make feel like hes doing well

Using positive reinforcement training and/or clicker training you will be able to help your little fellow become more accustomed to moving over to your computer desk.
