Default Young Budgie Aggression

I got a new budgie about a month and a half ago so that my boy Icarus would have a companion for when I go back to school and am not able to play with him as often. The new bird's name is Apollo and I'm not sure of the gender yet because it is still young.
Anyway, the two of them seem to get along most of the time, preening each other, regurgitating, playing, etc. But occasionally Apollo will chase Icarus around the cage and yell at him or try to bite him. This especially occurs around bedtime.
They recently started wanting to sleep on the same perch together, but if Icarus accidentally touches Apollo while they are sitting and going to sleep, Apollo will yell and try to bite him.
I just want to know if there is any reason for this behavior in Apollo, like maybe just his/her age (the bird is about 3 or 4 months) or maybe he/she is just more territorial than Icarus is.

Thanks! ??

It would be best for you to separate the two budgies into individual cages at night when it's their bedtime.

Some budgies do just fine together during the day but come bedtime, one becomes overly aggressive.

Icarus should not be subjected to Apollo's bullying every night.

Ok. Thanks! I'll try that.
