Post Update on InkyBoy!

Sorry i havent been on as often everyone! Life has been very busy and Ink has delt with it very well, Ink is in breeding season and when she isn't in breeding season she sometimes goes to nibble on my hair and nibbles it like she preens her feathers. But when she is in breeding season she decides to tease me by leaning forward and..*SNAP* she goes and tries to attack my hair! Same with my fingers but that's always been a trait of hers, other from that Ink is very chatty and verbal all day through and loves talking to the Tui's that are on the tree near his window which we find quite adorable. Ink defends for herself and isn't scared of anything so when our cat is staring at her, she looks down on her (the cat) like "Whatcha gonna do huh? gonna try eat me? Hah! I'm in my protective cage you know." and then of course we shoo her (the cat) away. As you all know, probably a few months after we got Albie in 2016 we learnt she was female it was quite easy to start calling her a girl, and i got used to it, however because we have had Ink for probably a year and a half now we cant exactly start calling him "her" because it would confuse him a lot, and feel very weird to us. But i shall continue referring Ink as a female on TB. So yeah! Ink is well and is very happy and talkative. Good o'.

Even when a budgie is in a cage, it is best that cats never be allowed in the same room where the bird is housed.

All it takes is one small mishap.
