Question They "kick" each other before they feed each other!

In the Boys cage. It is cute.. They run up to and "kick" the other birdie, then it turns into feeding in about a minute after squabbling lol. Is this how they play? I love my birdies.

That’s funny, but I’ve never seen mine do that. Budgies are definitely entertaining to watch!

Mine do it a LOT! They get into their warble, they get super excited, and first comes the back and forth on the perch, then chasing the other birdie with the "kick" and a few pecks from the other one, then it's beak touching and then comes the feeding! Sometimes they even make the other one follow the other. They are more entertaining than the TV and they seem very happy!! I'm a happy Bird Dad!
