Default What is flint trying to tell me?

VID 20191005 142234 - YouTube
he does this weird little flapping quite alot. usually on the top end of his rope-perch, or near the cage door. sometimes with squawking, sometimes without.

he also climbs around alot. sometimes squawking, sometimes not.

most of the time he ignores his toys, he ignores his food and water the entire day until maybe in the evening.

i would guess hes wanting out the cage. but im asking you more experienced owners what this all means. mildly concerned and i wanna know what i can/should do

To add aswell, he sits near the door or the top corner and starts moving alot like hes looking outside, and then starts squawking. he kicks his food out his bowl if i go over to him and try talking to him

He seems stressed. Did you get him recently? Leave his cage 3/4 covered and play music for him so it's not silent in the room. Put his food and water towards the back of the cage so he can feel safer eating. You may need to leave the room so he'll eat.

What toys does Flint have to play with?
He looks to me like he is just going to be a very active little fellow.
If he pants when you get near him, then back off some.
Make sure you always talk to him in a calm and reassuring manner and don't make sudden moves when you are around him.
