Default Can Bourke's Parakeet Live With Regular Budgies?

One of my two Bourke's parakeets (pink birds) died in a tragic accident last night. His remaining cage mate is upset and screaming. I know birds are social and like to be together. Once he calms down, could I ease him in to live with my flock of 11 regular parakeets? Or should the two different types remain separate? Can he have a happy life living alone? Thanks

I'm very sorry for your loss.

I would not put him in with your budgies.

Although both "parakeets" they really are two different species.
I suggest you put the cages next to one another so your remaining Bourke's will have company in that manner.
