Don't mean to budgie boast...(well maybe I do) but I am quite amazed at how quickly my little guy picks up words and phrases! he learns new words in about 3 days! Is that normal or is he extra smart?? All in all this is my first time owning budgies since I was 10. I can not believe what constant companions they are! He is always on my shoulder or computer! He has a female companion who is a little less friendly but I find it amazing she picks words up from him! Thanks for letting me brag a bit!
You are very fortunate to have a budgie that not only enjoys being with you but also learns new words that quickly! I'd say to count your blessings. Not many budgies learn words that quickly but there are a rare few that do.
You've heard of "Disco the Budgie" right? He was very popular on You-Tube videos for all the different phrases he could say.
Yes I have taken a few videos. Buddys biggest fan is buddy! Whenever I play the video he immediately flies to the phone to watch. Its the funniest thing to watch his eyes constrict and he puffs up! I wish I could a video of him watching himself! I will try to figure out how to post one!
