Hi! to Talk Budgies

The purpose of Talk Budgies is to promote the best practices in budgie care for their optimum health and well being.

We do not encourage people to breed budgies without knowing about their knowledge of the birds, level of experience in caring for them and how much research has been done.

An individual needs to have a good background in basic budgie care and then do extensive research into the proper breeding practices prior to making the decision to accept the responsibility of the commitment required for breeding responsibly and ethically.

Please read the information in these links:https://talkbudgies.com/budgie-breedi...s-new-old.html

When We Don't Want Eggs

Please take the time to answer the following questions:

1. Are these your first budgies?
2. Have you ever bred budgies or any other type birds previously?
3. How much research have you done with regard to best practices regarding breeding?
4. Why specifically are you trying to breed these birds?
5. Do either of them have any health problems or aggression issues?
6. Are you certain both budgies are currently in condition?

Once you provide more information, then we can better advise you.

Hi there and to the forums!

You've been given great advice

It's very important to understand that breeding budgies should only be undertaken if you have researched thoroughly for several months to a year regarding the species as a whole as well as the best practices. I hope you'll be following the best route to ensure your budgies happiness, safety, and well being!

Meanwhile, be sure to read through the forum's many Budgie Articles and "stickies" (threads "stuck" to the top of each subform for easy reference) to ensure you're up to date on all the best practices for budgie care. You'll find information on all your questions (including some you don't know you have yet ) on the forums.

If you have any questions after reading through everything, be sure to ask!

Best wishes!

Hi there welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place to learn the proper ways to care for your budgies.

As was mentioned above, Talk Budgies does not condone accidental breeding, or even purposely breeding without the adequate amount of experience and knowledge.

Please take some time to look over the links that FaeryBee gave you above, and upon registration. Answering her questions will give us more information to go on, to better help you.

You will find a lot of great essential information within the Stickies posts locate at the top of each forum section. The areas of healthcare, behavior, and taming and bonding would be especially helpful for starters. We hope you'll enjoy Talk Budgies and all it has to offer .
