Default 2 Week Old's +

Lindsey had asked for some 2 week old pictures she could use... and instead of spamming her thread, I figured I'd put these in their own...

Lindsey, you're free to use any of these that you want too.. and if you need any certain mutation that I have, I may have pics of my babies from 2 weeks till they are all grown up. I don't post all the pictures I have, it would take to long.

As this one grows I'll continue to update this thread.. as well as the others in my clutches.

Thanks! I've always wanted to see a little newborn! It's amazing how you can handle her. I suppose this will pay off in the long run when it comes to hand taming?

I handle them daily when they are two weeks of age. This makes them very loving and cuddly. And I attached a baby pic.

Awww!! I love pin feathers on chicks... They sort of remind me of dinosaurs in a strange way
Look forward to seeing more

Oh my! This is SO CUTE. With the kindness of respect (because my two adoptees were a bit older) how do they "live" at that age? I mean that little baby doesn't look like it can even stand? Is there a special way if you are hand raising them? Sorry to seem ignorant but I honestly have NO CLUE!

I've been reading alot about breeding and the requirements etc. It's something I'm DEFINITELY not ready for; both in terms of time and resources, but it's definitely something I'd love to do a bit later in life when I can commit more time to it!

They pretty much sit under momma, and she moves them where they need to be, and turns them over to feed them, then helps them back under her. You don't normally raise a chick by hand till they are at least 2 weeks of age. I don't hand feed any of mine. I find that playing with them daily and enjoying their cute little personalities is enough to keep them completely calm and collective ((but I've been told that's a budgie trait))
