You two seem to be having a bit of trouble, so I found some pictures of Snow, Gerhana's mother. Since she was a mutation that looked like a creamino, I'm unsure of how easy it is to tell what mutations she might actually have had hidden there.

Oh, my mistake - I thought I had previously seen a photo of Gerhana's mother in an earlier post in this thread Thanks for posting this!

Since Snow is creamino, you can't tell for sure ANY mutations she has, other than Ino, obviously.

It's very possible Gerhana is a boy So far, that looks possible, based on the cere colour. Time will tell for sure!

Snow was Sky's sister, and came from the same parents, just so you know. So there are possibilities since the Opaline gene might have ran in both sides of her family, and if that's the case I guess we really don't know Gerhana's gender until time gives us a more clear answer.

Elora,

If that's the case, Cloud is definitely split for opaline, which means that in order to get Sky (who is opaline, and male), their mother must have been opaline as well. Since we know Cloud is split, there's a 50% chance that Snow also is opaline. Therefore, Gerhana could be a boy OR a girl - with Dad being opaline as well, all offspring will be opaline if the mother is. If she wasn't, then Gerhana would be female. Since you only have Gerhana, you can't know for sure which of these outcomes your little one represents!

Regardless, I'm so glad to hear s/he's doing so well. I look forward to seeing updates

Oh yeah! Speaking of updates... excuse the odd angle towards the end of the video, but..! Gerhana has been practicing extended flight. https://drive.google.com/open?id=15Q...oKoUrIeZuV694v

Day 43- Almost fully independent when it comes to feeding, though he sometimes has a little bit of formula for dinner. He's adjusting well to the other budgies' schedule as well as mine, but very much prefers to be with me most of the day.

Of course, he also likes to hang out with the other budgies but they are a tad bit wary of him at the moment. None of them are picking on him, so that's good! His dad seems to be a little more observant, but the other two prefer to keep their distance at the moment.
At some point while watching them during the introductions I noticed Gerhana occasionally playing with Sky's tail, which was pretty funny and he didn't seem to mind too much. Little toddler being a little toddler, it seems.
Also he likes to be held on his back sometimes, as I managed to catch in a picture!

Great job on the flying, Gerhana!

Seeing him laying on his back is adorable.

Do you have natural wood perches of varying diameters in the cage or just wooden dowel perches?

I recommend you remove the wooden dowel perch in the cage and replace it with natural wooden perches of varying diameters to help prevent pressure sores.

The information in this link will give examples of better options for perches:

Best wishes!

I do have some natural perches, but I can go get more as I don't have enough to fill a cage without some of the wooden dowel ones. He's also currently in one of the smaller cages, but I plan on eventually having him join Cloud and Hulk's cage if they tolerate him- if not, I can arrange a better setup for my baby's own cage. They are usually quite active each day outside of the cages so these are mostly for bedtime and when I have 1 on 1 time with Pumpkin (since we have begun to set up a schedule to get her more hand-trained, because she has been a bit snippy with the boys lately).
