Default Cinny's first molt, already!

Cinny's only home a week or so and is heading into her first molt. Pinnies!!

There's also photos of the rest of the flock out and about, on one of their cages, and hanging out at the window. Enjoy!

Poor Cinny, Snowy is going through a really long moult at the minute. I'm giving her egg and veggies twice a day every other day to try and help her out bless. But you always wish you could do more

Cinny has such a sweet face, I hope the moult doesn't bother her much.
That last picture of the flock is really cute, they sure like the bouncy rope!

Those are some pinnies for sure. Does she let you scratch her yet? The rest all look like they are happy

Thanks, Em. I'm currently introducing Cinny to the same mix the rest of the flock are on, but she's happy enough with her seed for now. Pet stores need to get with it and provide a healthy feed mix for their budgies.

Yes, my flock adore their window boing. They're no longer allowed on the curtain pole, which means there's only poop in one spot, where there's paper! Thanks for commenting.

Yeah, Rick, she's letting me give her a light scratch. I'm enjoying it because I know it'll change once she joins the flock and discovers she's a budgie.

At least she will be nice and pretty with the new feathers when the quarantine is over
she looks like a relaxed bird.

Seriously, Dee, I've never met a more chilled out budgie. Back in the store, she was feisty, standing her ground within the crowded-cage madness, but now she's really content having a cage to herself, and is quite happy to nibble millet from my fingers, or accept gentle scritches to those pesky pinnies. I'm looking forward to her new costume.

I don't think birds enjoy molting. Just that I know mine do not like to molt. Good Luck, Cindy.

That is wonderful! I know you mentioned you needed some cheering up when you got her, and I am glad she is helping

Yeah, she was a good antidote to a gloomy day. She's definitely a cheery little thing.
