Just more pics of my wee dude! Chilling out on the open top of his cage; I've had him a whole week now, which means he's 13 weeks old today too!
I have so many plans for training and taming, I have to remember to slow down a bit and let him catch up too. Lol. I built a training stand thing this morning (bit like the percher, but home-made. Lol) but have been busy all day since then so he hasn't tried it out yet! I'll put pics of it in the DIY section. :-)
Happy one-week anniversary dude, may there be many many many more weeks to come! :-)
I know! Poor wee man! He's let me break up the worst of his cheek spot pinnies so far, but I think the head ones are pretty sensitive cos he only enjoys it briefly before flinching away. He had obviously banged one when at the breeders, you can see the dried blood there that is slowly fading away with what gentle grooming he'll allow.
I can't wait to see how boofy his head is once he's got all those new feathers in properly though! The breeder has some stunning english show birds, so that plus the sheer number of pin feathers still coming through suggests Meemo will probably be an impressive wee guy once he's all grown up too!! :-)
Meemo is going to be such a handsome wee boy. He must have a sweet demeanour too, allowing you to help with those pins after only a week. My lot get so grumpy when molting they barely tolerate each other and certainly don't let me help.
