I'm so sorry for the photo overload the last couple of days, I just can't help myself ... this will be the last one for a while I promise
The kids are at school, and the dogs are all out in their kennels basking under their heat lamp - which means I got Fred all to myself today. I was watching one of Lyn and Indi's videos on youtube when Fred decided it was play time. Indi's chirping excited him, so out he came.
I took advantage with the camera, laid out a few bits of toys and millet and then followed him around. The quality of the pics varies depending on the light he was in as I didn't use a flash.
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy
Then he managed to get up onto the back of my computer chair, the relentless clouds outside broke, and he was standing in some lovely light
He took himself home when he was finished waddling around the floor and climbing various things including myself - it's nap time now
Oh don't ever apologize for posting pictures. That is how I get my daily fix of budgies. I have one and we are very bonded but I just keep wanting more. If I stay out of the pet stores and get a chance to see the pictures on TB it makes me feel better. And I must say you have one beautiful budgie.
Thank you LouAnn ... I have to go to the pet store soon for a few supplies; I think I might take the other half along with me so he can bar my access to the bird room! We will probably get another in the future, maybe towards then end of this year when Fred is more bonded. Plus I don't really have the room although I do keep casting my eye around to work out if I could rearrange things to make space lol
We all love our budgie fix, the more pictures the better! Especially great quality ones such as these. Awesome shots and a terrific model!
Oh cheers very much for that Photography is a bit of a hobby for me but so far my subjects have mostly been the countryside, horses, dogs and kids. Having a new and different pal to take pictures of is a lot of fun.
