Some of you may already know this little fellow from my breeding journal (Mona and Carioca). He hatched December 27th 2013 and today, exactly two months later I decided to formally make him part of my flock.
He was supposed to have gone to a good home, but his potential owner had a change of heart and even though there were other people interested in taking him, we all fell in love with this baby budgie and his special personality, even my 91 year old grandmother asks for him and pets him, now how could I let him go?
Without further ado, here is Luigi, my lucky number 7 budgie
Luigi claimed my old Popple plush as his own
You can see he looks exactly like his older half brother Tito Junior
He likes some head scratches too
Luigi and Khaleesi are best buds
Another birdie kiss
EDIT: Luigi is in no danger despite hanging out with a lovebird. Khaleesi was rejected by his own species flock and I hand fed and raised him with the help of my budgie Leonel. Khaleesi is very gentle and even helped Luigi during the weaning period. They are very closely supervised when together.
