Yesterday was a nice Autumn day and I actually had a few spare minutes in the morning to snap off a couple of the flock in some bright early morning light
Pindo and Yin Yang
Storm looks quite content
Nimbus showing off his brilliant violet hues
I love River's opaline neck spots
What are you up to Wattle?
Wattle and Meringue
Meringue is such a lovely little butterball
These 4 used to share a cage before the aviary was built and they still like to hang out
Grey boys, playing in the sunshine whilst Storm looks on with obvious disdain.
Cameo and Frosty. We'll see if these two stay together, Frosty is a bit of a ladies man.
Birch, looking a bit scruffy, almost done moulting.
Sometimes I like to put a whole Cauliflower out for them just to give them something to destroy.
Medley's up for the task
Frosty climbs Mount Vegetable
What's left of it today
Topaz is still Beet red
Raindrop taking a flat nap with her little beard hanging over the edge LOL
Group hang out spot
I know some people have been waiting on some new pics of this guy so here he is He's moulted out all the dirty stained feathers he had when I got him and he's looking pristine and white!
Aaaaand here's the new surprise (drum roll)
It's been forever since I brought home some pet type budgies from a pet store, these 2 are scared to death but hopefully they will settle in soon. They are 2 of my all time favorite mutations so I couldn't say no Unless I find my illusive dilute or lacewing, these 2 will be the last pet types for a long long while.
So far nameless, a yellowface II sky greywing boy and a creamino girl. More like Cheezmino actually. She looks like she's been rolling in cheesypuffs she's so orange. Cameo was the same colour when I bought her from the same pet shop and she moulted out into a normal yf II so let's go with that LOL
Ooh so many delightful pics of your beautiful flock, I love the pics of Frosty on top of the cauliflower and Raindrop napping!
And your latest arrivals, oh my, they are absolutely gorgeous, congrats!
Thanks Aluz! The little cheezmino has been there for weeks, calling to me. I've always wanted one so when no one else bought her it just had to be a sign! Couldn't come home with just one because then I'd ruin my even pairs

I so enjoy seeing pictures of your budgies and it gave my morning a great beginning. The picture of Raindrop sleeping on top of the cage has to be one of my all time favorites.
I'm just so glad I have fellow budgie lovers so share them with. I've taken almost 7000 pictures (mostly of my birds) since I bought my camera at Christmas time, so it's fantastic I get to post some here rather than them just taking up space on my hard drive or bore my non-birdy friends and family
Images of your flock is always so breathtaking, Allie! Good thing I don't live in AU...or else I'd be tempted to 'birdnap' Percivale from ya
