My latest permanent flock member, Mona and Carioca's son, Luigi is now over 3 months old and is already starting to moult out a few of his flight feathers, still he doesn't let that get in his way and is a great flyer always chasing Khaleesi around the room.
Here is the little fellow right before I open the cage's door for him to hop on my hand and out he goes for some play time.
His mentor, my very own Khaleesi has shown Luigi the ropes in terms of flying, eating all the tasty foods and also on playing with objects that aren't necessarily toys and chucking them to the floor and watch the crash landing.
Good thing those headphones no longer work, so they can throw it to the floor to their heart's content!
This morning, Luigi suprised me with some new words he learnt without my knowing. I guess he must have been listening to Leonel a whole lot, because he picked up his "durka durr" line from South Park. Luigi learnt at a very early age to say his name (the Portuguese version of his official name which is "Luizinho"). Who knows what he will pick up next!
Isn't he lovely?
Of course this had to end with these precious photos of Luigi with his flock brother Khaleesi.
This is their affectionate way of saying "Hello" to one another and they always kiss whenever they first meet.
