She has been so wonderfully responsive to bonding with us. I still haven't found any foods that really excite her yet, as far as veggies or fruits or anything but I'm hoping to find something to use to do some gentle training. I don't want to have to clip her wings after she molts because I want her to be able to fly, so I would like her to learn to return to us. She seems to like us alright. I really do think that she likes my little girl more than she likes any of the rest of us though ;-)
I work for a vet that treats exotics and volunteer for the zoo occasionally. Even though Paisley is only 3, she has always been super gentle with animals and so she has gotten to experience lots of them. Chameleons, snakes, parrots, you name it!
I think she would actually rather go to the zoo than to Disney these days. I'm pretty proud of her :-D I'm proud of our little rescued girl too! She has come an awful long way in a relatively short time.
I'm considering getting a friend for her, but I need to do some more research on that front
