I walked into the living room and couldn't immediately find Keoki on his favourite high perch or in front of his food dish. It didn't take me too long to find him, though!
I bought a Slinky for Kalani after seeing all the adorable pictures on here of other member's birds playing with them. Kalani was afraid of it at first and then proceeded to ignore it for the week I had it in his cage. I decided to pop it into the bars on the roof of Keoki's cage since he is a climber and super curious. He didn't even flinch when I put it there and looked at it all curious for bit but that was as far as it went when I was watching him. I guess he has a new sleeping spot now!
I have a similar one for my budgie's cage.. I thought they will be afraid of the toy at first but they loved it and it's their favourite sleeping spot too...
Kalani is a very cautious bird but I thought he'd warm up to it for sure. I guess Keoki will just have to show him the way when they meet. Keoki is too cute, he slept in there the whole night and was playing peek-a-boo in it this morning with me.

It must! He is always trying to wedge himself into small spaces in the cage, under the cuddle bone, between his toys and the cage bars.. hes too silly and I have to be careful of how I put things so he can't get stuck! At least the slinky is a safe cozy spot for him to snuggle in.

Hah, yeah! He was playing hide 'n' seek. He's pretty good cause I couldn't find him in the cage at first.

I think that is going to be one of his new favourite games now! Besides "knock the ladder down" that is.

Thanks! One of the few times he holds still is when he is going to sleep.
I have them in a couple cages also. I cut them in two and stretch them a little wider. The birds just love them. Violet hangs out in hers a lot and sleeps in it at the front every night. I had to put a second one in for one pair, Lylah and Noah, because Noah would go in and sit at the front and Lylah would go right in and either push him right out or just sit right on top of him until he left on his own .
