Default Some more biting, playing, loving.

We have a new MEANie in town. Her sinister look can scare anyone. Take a look at her.
Featuring : Namo

1) Check out that look

2) That hurt.

3) Look at that iron grip she has on my finger. Helps her in biting even harder.

I love feeding them early in the morning. I am using flash so it might look more like night time but it was early in the morning.

Thank you so much Simon.

I can't stop myself from clicking their pictures. Especially with the kids growing up, new couples being formed, changing dynamics. It is fun to observe them.

Thank you

Budgie tree used to have a lot of leaves but these naughty little birdies stripped the poor thing off completely.

Great pictures, I especially like the ones on the tree and that last one of your beautiful flock looking out the window. Those pics of Namo and Harry are really sweet, too. By the way your Harry has some similarities in colour and pattern to my Leonel!

Thank you aluz.

I am worried about Namo and Harry. Harry is nearing 1 year and Namo is just 3 months old. I removed all the nest boxes so that shouldn't be an issue.

Harry must be Leonel's distant cousin then.
Have you any idea about the origin of the different mutations of budgies? The Australian natives are green normal ones. How did so many other mutations came into being? Or is there any thread here that has this topic. I would love to read it.

Hi, Juhi --

The pictures of your little ones are adorable.

You might want to take a look at these links -- they will give you a basic background of budgie mutations:
