Default What type of yellowface is my Loki?

I am not sure where to post this but the picture forum is good of a place as any

He has a yellowface on what it looks to be a dark "teal" body. It looks lighter in the photos. In person its a dark blue green or teal to my eyes.

I'm not very good at this, but I have a yellowface type 1 so I looked up a lot of pictures of them. I think your guy is a cobalt yellowface type 2 because if he was sky yellowface 2, he'd be more of a seafoam type green. That's my guess. He's very pretty!

To me your Loki is a sky blue yellow face type I budgie. Cobalt has a much darker colour.

Did you have Loki as a baby (before his first molt)? That would tell you about the grade of his yellow face as well, as it is graded based on how much yellow spreads throughout the body. For example, Sammy was sky blue as a chick and didn't have too much yellow around his face, but he is turning more teal as he continues to molt and the yellow feather cap really came out after his 3 month molt started (he's a SF Yellow Face II).

He's gorgeous regardless

He is very dark to be sky blue. Rainbow is the sky blue and Loki is much darker than him. It does not come out in pictures for some reason.
