Nedra,

Your two new budgies are gorgeous! Have you started thinking about names for them yet?

(I cheated and looked at all your photos. )
I love the one of Buzz on the railing and you already know little Spec captured my heart long ago! You certainly have a great set up for Spec, Buzz and Pinky by your computer. Very fortunate little birdies to have YOU as their Momma!

Thanks Deborah and Randy.
Deborah, I took that picture of Buzz because he has an entire 20x10 foot space tricked out like a budgie Disneyland and he finds his reflection in the wrought iron railing most fascinating. I should have named him Narcissus!
The new English seem quite different from my little American budgies -- kindof sitting around. But they are probably just scared and wondering what to do with all the space now that they aren't crammed into the same size cage with 13 other English Budgies.
A month of quarantine seems like a long time when they can't be up here with Buzz, Spec, Pinky and I. But they are right in the main traffic pattern on the main floor, and I pass by many times a day and sit a spell with them.

Mine is doing 360 backflips off one perch and landing softly on the lower one. I think he just loves the room

I'll try, but everytime I go up there he just looks at me like, "What do you want?"

I agree that quarantine always seems like a long time which is weird because time always seems to be flying by except when it comes to things like that.

It's great that the new birds are in the main traffic pattern so they get interaction with you but aren't totally overwhelmed.
I'm sure they'll settle in quickly.

Isn't it funny how some of our budgies are so into their own reflection?
My Sparky thinks he's the most handsome bird ever and it appears Buzz believes the same about himself!
