So I was supposed to stay away till Christmas but I HAD TO SHARE something on TB.
So I went yesterday to a pet shop to stock up on millets and there I saw the most beautiful budgie ever. She/he had such beautiful colours. I fell in love instantly. It was so hard to leave him/her there.
I know I can't bring every single bird home but the colours were exquisite. Is this what we call a Rainbow?
The pictures are a bit blurry as I had to zoom in a lot. She/he looked healthy and hopefully gets a forever home soon.
Wow Juhi she is so beautiful. I have never seen a budgie like that one. Is that pink on the top of her head? I think that anybody would fall in love with her I would.
The little one is not a rainbow budgie but still it's beautiful!
He/she is most likely a single factor golden face cobalt blue opaline budgie.
I can see it's very young too, as it still has a tiny bit of melanin on the beak.
And who knows, maybe you will get him/her to even your flock to 14.

You are missed and never will be forgotten.

I Know... I need to even my flock. But I have my exams in 2 weeks and I don't think I will be allowed to get a new bird right now . And I doubt the bird will stay at the breeder's for long. People are getting fond of birds in my city.
And tomorrow Grace will be introduced to my flock. She has had few interactions with them from within her cage but tomorrow her Quarantine ends...!!! She will get supervised time with them and I will see how they treat her. Though she will have to sleep with me inside until I figure out a way for her to sleep peacefully. She can't perch properly.

Lyn, the pink on her head is a marking. In India birds are marked using that pink color. Every bird in the store has it.
It goes away in a few weeks time.
I had to control the urge to get her home .
How is Indi doing?
I just wish I had a masssssive room full of birds of all kinds. I would have lived happily ever after. Oh yes and a lot of money to take care of all of them. wishful thinking.
The offer is so temptingggggg....
My Dad visited my bird room today after 6 months and he used to think I have only 6 birds... He was shocked to see 13 of them... All other 7 of them came to this house without him being informed.
I think I can manage one more without him noticing.
