Lisa,

Lovely pictures of your beautiful flock!
Thank you for sharing them with us.

Alfred was a beautiful fellow and I'm sure you miss him.
It is wonderful knowing he is with your grandparents and enjoying lots of love and attention in heaven.

Lisa I have 3 Sulphurs. Charlie is my baby girl, she just turned 14 and I would be totally devastated if anything happened to her. I hand raised her from 2 weeks and she is my very sweet baby. I also have George who is the same age but he doesn't like people very much and Jeckle who is 6 and I hand raised him from about 2 weeks as well. He was a rescue from a tree that was being chopped down. I raised him and his 2 siblings.

I can understand how devastated you must have been to have to re-home Alfred and then lose him. If I had neighbours like that either I would move or I would make sure they moved. I would not be getting rid of any of my toos. But then again the wild ones around me are noisier than mine.

The neighbor and I are at constant war which adds to my frustration about losing Alfred , We had a physical altercation Over Alfred and I was ashamed and embarrassed I let it get to that in front of my children , So I thought it best to let him go and be with someone that could enjoy him even if it was short lived for both him and my father in law , We have plenty of wild birds that still visit some sit on Alfies cage still calling for him and others for the seed in the yard , I am just glad she hasn't started about the Budgies or Pigeons , God knows that will be a war she will never win not this time not after what I lost last time round

I wouldn't have a problem with the neighbours on my top side as they are really nice and have no problem with the birds. They have only been here a bit over 1 year. And the neighbours at the back are fine also. It is the ones on the bottom side next to me that are the problem. She is a nasty piece of work and her kids are just feral. Her kids make more noise than my 3 Sulphurs, 5 Short Billed Corella's, 1 Long Billed Corella, 1 Alexandrine, 1 Princess Parrot, 2 Galah's, 5 Rainbow Lorikeets and 2 Scaly Breasted Lorikeets combined. And she is only renting and I would be bitterly complaining to the agent about the noise and fights from her place, let alone the barking dog. I think she would be moving before I did.

Where abouts in Sydney are you if you don't mind me asking? I am out between Blacktown and Windsor.

Not that far from me then. I am at Riverstone. My dad's fathers family originally started at St Mary's in the 1800's.

With my neighbours kids it is not just loud. She is dragging them up and not bringing them up. Teaches them to say nasty things about people. Anti social unless it is with her friends. Top side has 2 boys the same age as the boys on the bottom side. I am closer to the top side and I hardly ever hear them. They are polite and well behaved in public. And none of the kids on either side suffer from a nasty condition like Autism. I have a friend who has a girl who has ADHD and boy can she get going if she forgets her meds. But she is not nasty and I bet your kids aren't either. They have been onto my property when I was out and knocked things down in the garage. Big difference between loud and badly behaved. She is the only neighbour I have problems with and know pretty much everyone in our block of the street and everyone else is fine. Been here now for nearly 30 year, but I am not a Grumpy old lady.

I know Riverstone well =) I have friends out that way and my hubbies Uncle lives in Windsor downs , Yeah I know the type , there are plenty that Just drag them up around here , so sad and they wonder why society is the way it is ?! Hubby and I are trying Our very best to raise Kind hearted little humans Mine people would say are too sociable lol Only because We are very sociable so in turn the kids are they have a lot to do with the community 2 of My girls cheerleader for The Parramatta Eels and Us as a family are involved with the Club itself organising game day events and things eels related for fans , Hence Our king birds Name Parra , short for Parramatta and Hanesy , named after Jarryd Hayney <3
I am sure you are not a Grumpy old lady Kate , That is just my pleasant way of describing my very unpleasant neighbors

I'm just going to hop in here and say that your birds are beautiful!

Speaking of horrible neighbors. Most of my neighbors keep to themselves, and have wonderfully well behaved dogs and inside/outside cats. However, the neighbors on the left of us raise pigeons for food I wish they would stop, but they don't listen to "silly" teenagers.

I thought you must have had something to do with Parramatta. Unfortunately I am not a footy fan but I had a cousin that played for the Eels and if I did support a club it would be the Eels. Oh and my cousin is Stan Jurd. Played for the Eels in the '80s. You may have heard of him. I also grew up with the Langlands family.. I went to school with Graeme Langlands sister and worked for Graeme for a wile. But he played for St George.
