Default Elsa & Gilbert have moved in together!

It only took a week and 4 days for the budgies to get used to each other. They have enough room to spread out, but they like to huddle up and snuggle

I just hope they don't get too close and have eggs! She's never shown nesting behavior before, but that was when she was caged by herself.

It's good to know they are getting along so well!
And about the eggs, as long as you don't give Elsa any potential nesting areas, the thought of mating and wanting to raise a family won't cross her mind.

I'm glad for that! I think it would be very cool to see the little pinkies in real life, but I don't have the time of room for more cages. I barely had room for Elsa and Gilbert's seperate cages! Seeing pictures of the little babies here on TB is more than enough for me

You'll probably be surprised at the amount they learn from each other I think! Belle would often teach Olaf things he wasn't used to were "good" like eating from hands etc While you'll probably continue individual taming separate from one another, definitely allow Elsa to see you and Gilbert interacting! I've no doubt it'll show her you aren't harmful!!

The backwards thing is that Elsa tolerates hands touching her beak, cere, head, feet, and wings, but absolutely hates being caught. After playtime is done, I have to spend about twenty minutes getting her back in her cage. I can't really touch Gilbert yet, but he has perched on me once, and once he's done playing he flys back inside his cage. So hopefully Elsa can teach him letting hands touch you is okay, and Gilbert can teach Elsa that you're supposed to go back to your cage when you're done playing

Elsa and Gilbert are both very cute!
I'm glad they are getting along now.
