Default Saying hello

Well I've moved Sunny Jim and Louis' cages next to each and they are getting closer and closer

Their new cage should be here this coming week - do you think it's too soon to move in together? They have been in the same room for a week and I've seen them beak to beak this weekend. Sunny Jim hangs on to his cage bars with his beak open - is he being aggressive or just helping helping himself stay on?

The new cage is quite large so there should be plenty of room to take things slowly if they want to.

What do you think?

No worries there! Sunny Jim is using his beak for extra support, my Tito Junior (as well as quite a few budgies I have had over the years) does this all the time and sometimes he even takes short naps like that.
It's great that your boys are getting increasingly curious about one another.
You can also let them decide when they want to move in by having the cage open during their out of cage playtime. Once one of them goes inside, the other will soon follow suit and then you can see how they go on about being roomies.
Good luck!
