Yes, a pure albino. It was probably bred by two others.

Lol.....love it.....I say as long as your budgie is a willing participant, go with it! Like I said on your other post, mine was the same when I brought her home....I never forced her, it was her doing!

Chardonnay is very pretty

I agree, as long as you aren't forcing him to do anything he doesn't want to do, it's okay to interact with him like this. As mentioned, however, if he ever shows any signs at all at being uncomfortable or skittish after a few days, don't push him! He'll warm up to you with time and patience

Also: Did you know that Albino is a sex-linked gene? That means that females carry the gene on the x chromosome, and it shows visually in females if they have the "ino" gene, but males can be split (since they have two x chromosomes) and only show it if they have two copies of the gene.

In his case (he appears to be male), his parents could have been an albino female and a split albino male (who would look visually normal) or two albino parents--so to make a "pure albino" you don't necessarily have to have two visual parents
