Default Bella going through a heavy moult

Quite a few members have been asking about Bella, well she's going through a very heavy moult just now so she probably won't like me posting these photo's I apologise for the rubbish picture quality

And finally, Bella really loves her baths

poor darling! I have one of my big Lutino show cocks going through a pretty nasty molt too and I just feel so sorry for the poor guy! He's not tame but he's been coming up for a head scratch as he cant reach all the itchy bits being the big puffy headed guy he is...

Hey Pete, Bella is living up to her name, I love the last picture of her all wet after her bath Budget loves having a shower under the tap more so than an actual bath.

Thanks Lyn, even when your Indi is moulting he's still totally handsome, the one thing I particulary love about your Indi is the way he poses, he knows he's gorgeous, he is

Thank you Pete. But Bella is beautiful I like her very much...Every budgie is different they all have a wonderful personality... Buster was a quite bird as he was disabled but he did a lot of things like a normal bird did... He is so different to Indi.. I bought Indi from a show breeder i was very lucky to get him.... I think Indi loves the camera when i bring it out ill have to take some more photo's of him on the weekend to show you all.... I love Bella's eyes and her colour...

Unfortunately yes I only have Bella now, I am still suffering abit after a car accident and to be perfectly honest I simply couldn't care for the aviary birds in the way that they were used to, I was struggling to even get in the aviary to clean it, friends and neighbours did help me but I don't like to rely on people so I had to make a decision, I have a friend who is a vicar in the next town, she has an amazing aviary in her back garden, to give you an idea of the size of it it has a 30 foot long external flight, most weekends she has kids from the church coming round to help look after the birds etc, she doesn't breed her birds but she does look after them very well, she does things exactly how I did but on a much larger scale, so yes my birds are being very well looked after.
I am going to have another aviary in the future, I still miss them massively now, just getting up in the morning and not seeing to the birds, it doesn't feel right, there is something missing, but I have to be realistic, at the moment it simply isn't possible, you have to give 100% to your feathered friends.
