Default Catching a few spring rays

A couple of shots of my fids catching some rare spring rays. They get outdoor time every day, but it's particularly good when the sun graces us with its presence. Sky stayed in the background today while Spangle, Dusty, and Sprite got a bit of family-time in. I love listening to their happy chirps and whistles as I work away indoors.

Cheers, Deborah. The sun never fails to bring out the best in our fids. It lifts them in so many ways.

Many thanks, Julie, for your lovely comment. I never tire of admiring their colours and, of course, personalities. Life just wouldn't be the same without them.

Thanks, Chirper. That's the thing I find about budgies - once they have good company and a varied diet, it's rare they'll not be happy with their lot.

My pleasure. Even though I live in the centre of a town, with all the traffic sounds that entails, when my fids are outside they fill the air with the pure joy of life. So lovely to have as a background to my day.

It's always great to see how excited they get when they are outside for some sun. I'm glad your flock has taken full advantage of their sunny day!
